The Author: Kinyotta Johnson
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Kinyotta has always been guided by a heart for service. With nearly 25 years of experience in the healthcare field, she’s spent her career supporting others through some of life’s most vulnerable moments. Her compassion and dedication are the foundation of everything she does.
Kinyotta is also an avid traveler, music and art enthusiast, and nature lover. Her passion for photography shines through in the images she captures—whether it's a breathtaking view abroad, candid moments with loved ones, or the quiet beauty found in everyday life.
Her first book, Embracing the MonSter Within: 10 Strategies on Navigating a Chronic Illness through Strength and Perseverance, was born from her personal battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Diagnosed over 14 years ago, she has not only faced the disease head-on but found ways to halt its progression and thrive. This book is her way of reaching out to others walking a similar path, offering practical strategies, inspiration, and a sense of connection.
Kinyotta is deeply grateful for the unwavering support of her family and friends, who have stood by her through every step of her journey. Through her writing, she hopes to remind others that even in the midst of chronic illness, there is strength, beauty, and the power to persevere.
